How long do repairs typically take?

Most minor repairs — such as claw re-tipping, clasps, and ring resizing — are completed within 24–48 hours in-store. More complex restorations or custom work may take 1–2 weeks. We'll always provide a clear timeframe when you bring your piece in.

Do you offer insurance valuations?

Yes. Our in-house valuers are qualified to provide insurance and probate valuations for all fine jewellery and timepieces. Valuations are documented with full descriptions, photographs, and certificates suitable for insurance purposes.

Can I return or exchange an online purchase?

We offer a 14-day return policy on most items purchased online, provided they are in the same condition as received — unworn, with tags, and in original packaging. Custom-made and personalised pieces cannot be returned. To start a return, contact us at shop@leonbaker.com.

How do I care for my jewellery at home?

Store pieces separately in soft pouches to avoid scratching. Clean gold and platinum with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid contact with chlorine, perfume, and harsh chemicals. Bring your pieces in periodically for a complimentary professional clean.

Do you service watches you didn't sell?

Yes, we service most major watch brands regardless of where they were purchased. This includes battery replacements, band adjustments, pressure tests, and full mechanical servicing. Bring your watch in and we'll assess it free of charge.
